THE SIDEWINDER SETLIST - THURSDAY 4th JUNE 2015

It was great to be invited by hosts Dave Edwards and Gilo to play records at Sidewinder on Thursday. Feels like a while, probably about a year, since I DJed a proper modernist/R&B club so used the opportunity to dig out some old favourites and throw a few recent purchases into the mix. The second set was towards the end of the night so trod a safer route than the first to keep the dancers on the floor.

The most curious part of the evening came when I was asked “How come you’re dressed as a Mod but are playing R&B?” A question I didn’t know where to start unpacking then and am still at a loss now.
